Navigating the complex area of State benefits with experienced help

Image showing Planning Care customer (Simon Emery @ SEA Photography)You are now entering a world which many people find completely different from anything they’ve had to deal with before, with care assessments and claiming state benefits for possibly the first time.

Some benefits are means-tested, but some depend on how much care you need.

A care assessment will establish what care you need to have, whether this is having someone come in to you at home, or you are going into residential care.

If you have nursing needs, a nursing assessment can identify these, and you may qualify for NHS Continuing Healthcare funding, which means the NHS will pay for your care.

We can help to make sure you get these assessments, and to use the information in the assessment to get the most appropriate care for you or your loved one, where you want to live.

All included in our flat rate Handholding Service fee.
