Our nominated charity

LimbPower charity organised fencing classesWe have nominated LimbPower as our supported charity.

LimbPower provides support and rehabilitation to civilian amputees and the ambulant disabled, through the medium of sport and the arts.

They have staged the LimbPower Games at Stoke Mandeville since 2007, where recent amputees get to try out sports such as sitting volleyball, fencing, badminton, shooting and handcycling – one first-time handball player went on to play for the Paralympic handball squad in 2012, and in 2012 staged the first Junior LimbPower Games. They have funded prosthetic limbs for children.
